A very local bakso place with just 4 food items on the menu of which we ordered: - bakso balungan: beef bones & meatballs (my fav) - bakso ayam: chicken meatballs - bakso sapi: beef meatballs All of them come with glass noodles as well. Highly recommend the bakso balungan which is their signature, the meat from beef bones were so tender and I love the collagen on the bones as well. The chicken we preferred less but still good Don’t underestimate the portions as well, it looks tiny but we were super full after sharing 3 between the two of us. It is just such insane value - 50k for all three!

I had dinner at Bakso Balung Pak Rebo in Sanur and it turned out to be one of those pleasant, affordable finds. I ordered Bakso Balungan (meatball soup with beef bones), Sup Balungan (clear bone soup), and an iced tea. The total bill came to only IDR 38,000, which is around RM 9.88 – an absolute bargain for what I got. The Bakso Balungan was hearty and full of flavor, with tender meat clinging to the beef bones, while the meatballs were springy and satisfying. The Sup Balungan had a clean, comforting broth that felt perfect after a day out exploring Sanur. Portion sizes were generous, especially considering the price. Service was friendly from the moment I walked in – the staff greeted me warmly, and my food arrived surprisingly quickly. The place itself has a casual, no-frills vibe, which adds to its charm. It felt like a spot locals come to regularly, and for good reason.

Nice traditional bakso joint in Sanur area. The taste is good for the price. I would recommend to order two portions of bakso without any noodles as one portions is too little for me and the noodles are not that good.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. All the staff were very friendly. I was able to enjoy a taste of Galbitang in Bali! I’ll definitely come back if I visit Bali again.
